Description long after the great Global Warming catastrophe, when the earth was again covered with water...life adapted, and the mer people emerged. and the legends continued. the art of origami and the story of Sadako's Crane persisted. but with a strange twist. this little mermaid visits the ruins of these lost civilizations, to make little origami mer-cranes...for these lost souls, that they find peace. it's actually a cinderella story. you're welcome to use your imagination ^^

I love the story and intention behind this amazing drawing. Really get a sense of this young water being praying for lost souls.

thank you. it was based on a photo of a young girl making oragami cranes, who also likes mermaids. so i made this as gift art for her. it's fun weaving together totally unrelated stuff to create story drawings. ^^

the most powerful art is that which is woven together from weaving unrelated things into beautiful story drawings.

Global warming is a big hoax containing a little percentage of truth and lots of fiction ...

yay! so glad you like it^^

an artist is only as good as what inspired him/her in the first place. i only tried to mirror what i saw. when the sun smiles upon the land, the earth is happy and blooms radiantly back to the sun. none of this would've happened without you

i'll trust you to finish the story

many thanx to YOU!

thanks^^ it was created by photographing it with sunlight filtering thru a window. the scanner would've destroyed it.
