aw hey, thanks! wish i could just fool around with hair a lot^^ yeah, i try not to make wings look like they're just stuck on them like pins, or something. i'm always trying to find ways to make it look natural.

Oh my god, this is gorgeous! You're a fantastic artist.

I agree with ~americanredhead2, though, about lightening it up. Just a quick fix in Photoshop should do the trick. ^__^

I love it!

hey, thanks...really appreciate the comment! i keep trying

but um, i asked americanredhead2 where or how it should be lightened...and wondered if you too, meant like the whole thing, or just some parts of it. sadly, i never learned photoshop...but mb now i should.

tee hee i sometimes do it with my older brother, he lets me play with his hair, tho all i make are weird swirls that stick out oddly hee hee, but its fun, playing that way is awesome

Oh I love the way the wings are subtly connected to her back. And the hair! Googles the hair. O__O
Still, I think I can relate her to a spring sky, all calm and light blue. Must be because of the springly (?) colors you used.

thank you^^

what do you mean by lightening it up? what part? do you mean just the head, cuz it does seem darker than the rest...or do you mean the whole drawing? i realize some images can look darker or lighter on different comps, but it seems normal on the comps i view it with.

americanredhead2 In reply to faeriefaeria [2006-02-01 01:33:00 +0000 UTC]

your welcome. Its very pretty.

What I mean by it is to lighten the whole picture. So it dosen't have a gray tone all over. SO the colors are their own not dul. Its hard to explain.
If you go to my scraps I have you picture lightened . That is what I meant by it.
Different computers show each work differently.

ok, i understand now^^ it was grey like that cuz i darkened the picture when i scanned it, to bring out some of the subtle color...which unfortunately also made the background that ugly greyness. it's an ongoing problem with me. my stuff just dosen't scan at all. the choice is either to lose important color, or muddy it by darkening it. either way i lose. scanners just don't see the way the human eye sees. digital photography may be the way, but unless an angel appears and gives me one of those super expensive ones...it's not gonna happen
