Something like that. Since my character is deliberately an elf for the sake of getting Kili's eye, then yes, the anti-Thorin spray becomes a must have. You know how much Thorin loathes elves, who knows if he would try to kill me in my sleep.. LOL

I'm gonna do a closet cosplay of Tauriel for a party next weekend, and my husband has Kili-length hair, but he's more than one head taller than me ... got myself a very tall dwarf oO

Well, that's your opinion and I respect it. However, there is many of us that loved her addition, even when she doesn't appear in the books as a cannon character. but her silvan elf race DOES appear.

Yes, I am very well aware that the Silvan race does appear. By the by, she's a decent addition that I would be fine with except that they gave her this whole "Love triangle" thing. I'm fine with them adding a female character to the story! It needed one! But the moment you start trying to sell a Elf of mirkwood falling in love with some sort of mutant near beardless dwarf I start to heave.

LOL you are definitely a male. The rest of us female fans do not think of Kili as a mutant at all. Blame Peter Jackson for it. He is the one that hired Aidan Turner (-swoons-) for the role. And Aidan did a great performance. Even you can't say no to that.

Besides, what's wrong with a little romance? Come to think of it. I do not know yet what are Peter Jackson's plans for Tauriel. All of us have to wait for the third Hobbit movie to know. BUT my guess is she is likely to die. Else, there is no way to justify her not being in Lord of the Rings. I am sure that will solve your discomfort.
