Description My favorite spot in Flagler Beach for scouting predator birds. It's a trio of bare trees set high, where they can overlook water, swampland, and regular land. Everything from Ospreys to Hawks to Eagles perches here from time to time. I'm pretty sure this transient is a Cooper's Hawk.

Thanks! It was a bit of luck and a bit of stealthy approach on my part, I suppose. Cooper's hawks are very shy so I'm quite happy to get a good photo of one.

Thank you! Hopefully I'll get more of these guys someday. They're much shier than the two hawk types I usually see.
