Description Did this yesterday in animation class.

Just a note, for those interested in possibly buying originals off me, the original versions retain their faint red structural col-erase lines beneath the ink. (So if you want one of my illustrations without that, I recommend a print instead.) I'm not selling any of these yet though, in either print or original form. I'll be figuring that out after my graduation.

Originals will, of course, be more expensive than prints. (I have yet to figure out how much originals will be though.)

AN. Cat's hindquarters are probably a bit skewed here. I sort of struggled with them. ><

I feel kind of sad, because you guys don't really know Cat much. He's a border collie character I developed this year. I love him very much, because there's nothing special about him. He's just a cute sheep herding dog who only responds to whistle commands.

GET THE FRISBEE GET IT GET IT

He's adorable! I love Cat. His tail, expression, and little patch of tummyfuzz are adorable.

I love the pose! <3 He really looks like he's giving it all to get that Frisbee! Love how the face is tilted back slightly. Actually, the whole pose itself is quite animated with how the body is twisted all over the place. Very dynamic!

He sounds like an awesome character! 8D

Ugh, oh goodness, and it makes me reminisce back to this hideous old piece of mine: [link] Oh lord, now you make me want to redo that... xD

I actually adore Cat because of that ONE picture I saw of him on your blog. He's so cute

I wouldn't say you killed his hindquarters either. They might look a bit awkward but sometimes real poses look like that.

I'm glad Cat has at least one fan I really, really need to draw him more. It would be nice to do some pictures of him herding and stuff, or looking out over a moor. I have ideas about turning his story into a cartoon or movie pitch. The basic plot might be a tad cliche (animal loses their master then looks for him) but I would make it original.

That's true, I guess I was really going for what was more important, which was the energy of the pose. Thanks!

Cliche stories are great though I'd love to see him in an animated short or cartoon or something

He's just so freaking cute!

I have animated him once, but I'm not done working on the ruff of that, so that's why I haven't posted it.
