this is beautiful and one of my favorite moments in the whole saga. I still get goosebumps everytime yoda lifts that x-wing

it's my pleasure I just wish you would post more recent stuff if you have it, I know how work can get in the way though

Very impressive and capturing the resemblance to the 100 percent!...I can almost hear Joda humming on the background...cueing in the stream of Luke's concentration...

Very beautiful portrait of Luke, I like his concentrating or thoughtful expression.

Hey, the "roughness" only enhances the image. There's nothing glamorous about the Dagobah training: he's constantly covered in sweat, dirt, etc; had I your skill, I would have gone for that look deliberately. This is great.

Thank you! I've had more than one comment about the suitability of the paper's roughness--I'm glad it works! Sometimes we grab whatever paper we have handy--this was one of those times! Thanks for the kind comments!

I just like Star Wars and your art is awesome. Luke was my original Star Wars hero, and he's still on my favorites list!

No problem at all - you can tell it was made with a lot of thought behind it ^^
I love your art ^^

I love the use of rough paper. It totally adds to the picture. I see it as the old films. The old films have this rough quality to it... and the newer ones, because of the technology, are crisp. So with the use of your rough paper, and quick sketching, goodness... Its like looking at the old film itself. LOVE IT.
Dont know if you did that intentionally, but I wouldnt like it as much if you had done it on smooth bristol or something and had every detail worked out.
Maybe that's to artsy fartsy... but yeah, LOVE StarWars and I love this piece for how it turned out.
Thanks for bringing it about.

I love this piece. I actually logged on last night and showed it to a few Star Wars / Movie friends I have. They loved it and loved it for the same reasons I did. Ha and obviously I showed them the rest of your gallery. ; )
The best of luck.

I know I say this often, but it's one of the more powerful scenes in all the films for me: Luke, trying and failing, then standing dumbfounded as his diminutive Master performs the feat to his unbelieving stare... Great stuff! Thanks for looking, and for the comment!

I love the detail of his expression. You transfered it so well from the still frame photo into your art. It's amazing.
