Yet he is strikingly similar to Optimus Prime even having a dark counterpart to Optimus's Matrix of Leadership. Many theories have been made about this transformer. Some say that Nemisis is a Clone of Optimus created by Shockwave like Toxitron was, Others say he's from a distant future where Optimus was corrupted by Dark Energon, Some even say that Nemisis was a just an alias and his real name was either a Decepticon named Scourge or Optimus's predecessor Nova Prime. Some even say that Nemisis was a Human built clone created by a human terrorist organization. Some even believed that Nemisis is a warrior created by the Lord of Chaos Unicron. Even Optimus himself believes that Nemisis is a manifestation of the Autobot Leaders Dark thoughts and feelings. But whatever Nemisis's story is, he poses a powerful threat to Autobot and Decepticon alike.
