Nothing like a sad speedpaint binge on YouTube to make you realize how much you miss drawing Warriors.

Poor little Badgerpaw. Without a doubt, this scene ranks as one of the three saddest moments in the entire series. I realized I'd never drawn it and just had to fix that before my impulse control could stop me. (I now realize this is a pretty bleak way for me to start the new year. Sorry about that.)

So, here's Badgerpaw, killed at three moons old on WindClan territory because he was simply too young to survive his first battle. His grieving mentor, Flintfang, sits by his side and assures him he fought brilliantly; Badgerpaw's dying wish is that StarClan will let him choose the warrior name Badgerfang after his wonderful mentor. Thus the littlest warrior reminds us why we must honor the warrior code.

I debated putting a mature content filter on this; I decided against it because I figure Warriors fans are probably pretty desensitized, but I'll add one if anyone thinks it's necessary. Because, you know, dead kitten.
