The first realistic cat I have ever drawn!! What a pain in the ass!

I learned half way through (via internet) that a stylus is recommended for doing the whiskers (and even the fur). I added the whiskers last using the back end of a paintbrush as a stylus, which was the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life. At least I know more for next time.

I want to defend this drawing by saying that it looks much better in person. The scan didn't do it any favors.

Anyways... this is my first official commission. It's going to my grandpa who lives in Hawaii. This is his beloved cat, Missy. It's a $50 piece, but I am not sure as to the amount he is sending me.

FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME TIPS OR HELPFUL LINKS ON DRAWING CATS. They are SO DIFFERENT from horses.
