I'xo'po was very curious about the variety of movements of the facial musculature of the bipod in the terrarium, and the odour of the chemicals oozing from its skin pores. He assumed that it was making sounds from the cavity in its head, but the frequency was too low for him to make out. Never mind, he had plenty of time to investigate this ugly specimen...
