Better shots of Svaal the khajiit!
Im hoping to slowly build up a full outfit for this (and somehow teach myself to braid the hair or switch to dreads like originally planned)

I really envy people who can make fursuits. Well, people that can make anything, really, but especially fursuits. I wish they weren't so expensive, but I totally understand. The process is a long and challenging one, especially for people who make their own patterns, or work each project from scratch without a pattern. Factoring in the cost of materials, cooling devices, time taken, and the challenges of the dying/furring process for people who make their own fur/patterns, I know it's already expensive for an artist to even undertake and attempt a fursuit. I can only imagine how expensive a "failure" would be to the maker (like, either the project just doesn't turn out right in the maker's point of view, or it doesn't live up to a commissioners expectations, and they refuse to pay [or they just bitch about it to try to get a discount, because some people are assholes]). So I understand why they have to be expensive. This is by far, one of the best potential fursuits I've ever seen. Just the head itself would probably be worth a decent $300 (if not more), especially to someone who's a fan of the Elder Scrolls series.
If I ever have the money, I'd love to commission something like this someday. This definitely deserves a Daily Deviation. I'll definitely be watching from now on, and will keep this in mind in case I ever win the lottery or save up enough and have the financial stability to make a purchase like this (most full fursuits I've seen run anywhere from $1000-$5000 depending on the quality and type of fursuit [quadsuits cost more].) The quality is just astounding here, and I could see a full suit selling for over $5000. Someday... I'll definitely commission one...

Its a skill that can easily be learnt, I myself are 100% self taught with sewing/casting etc.
Each project has its own pattern, nothing can be re-used (well..maybe the tails but they vary so much its never really worth saving)
Materials can run at around £300+, hell I have one this year thats running on £1000+ in materials alone!
The heads I make start at £500, this head with custom animatronics will easily run over £650 alone due to the material cost and double man-hours put into it.
If you think about it this way, £500-£50 (materials)= £350, now sort out the hours, heads take 4 days which is 40 hours which is £8.75 per hour. This is a fairly low wage for someone with my experience and qualifications but its enough to pay rent and bills.
