Fire & Ice, Red & White, Villain & Hero, Black & White...I wanted to show exactly the feature Helsa, which manifests itself in the fact that he - a villain, she - a good character. Opposites. In a sense, Elsa is also the villain.
She struck her sister in the heart with ice, she knew what would happen to her but she conjured Marshmallow (the ice monster) to chase after Anna, Olaf and Kristoff off a cliff which if Elsa thought about it, was very high and dangerous. I'm not saying that I hate Elsa, I love her to bits, just like Hans but Hans never got away with any of his acts, he didn't successfully kill Anna or Elsa or take over the throne, but Elsa got away with freezing Arendelle and striking her sister. That's kind of why I think they'd work.
Also, opposites do attract! The reason Hans and Anna would never work out is because they were the same in EVERY SINGLE WAY, even down to their hair colour. Helsa should have happened. This is an amazing and lovely piece of art by the way <3

Hans might not be a villain, I mean sure he tried to kill elsa and Ana but he's not EVIL. Just desperate.
He was choosing those actions because he is the 13th heir to the throne and he realized that would be impossible. He choose these actions because of a bad past.
and I said he's not evil, just desperate because look at Maleficent, in Sleeping Beauty she acted evil, but if we turn to her past, in the new movie Maleficent. She was furious at king Stefan and wanted revenge for what he did to her to be king.

*rolls eyes* I agree that it is nice art, but the ship is totally insulting to Elsa's intelligence and love for her sister. The way some fanfictions depict hans (I.e. "winter's end"), he's the snotty, manipulative psychopath you wanna grab by the shirt collar and pound his nose into mush if you came across him in real life, and you want to pair him with...the most extraordinary character disney ever came up with? Whose struggles have touched the lives of those whose personal afflictions the Hanses of the world DELIGHT to mock, taunt, and make miserable? *shakes head* I wonder about...
If you want a good (no awesome) Helsa fanfiction that doesn't insult Elsa's intelligence (or yours) and beautifully rationalizes Hans' behavior (and in a way that honors the source material for the movie), then take a look at Every Moment After . THIS is the script for Frozen 2 that'll make the movie blow past Beauty and the Beast.

I read that!!!!!! It is amazing. I do ship Helsa, but in a way that Hans was just crazy when he did it, was forced to (12 older brothers= peer pressure), had some crazy backstory, or in an AU. So, I completely agree with you.

This isn't totally how I feel about Helsa, considering I usually make helsa tragic-death-involved and I usually make Hans reform before he dies.
But it IS how I feel about Hanna, or Hans x. Anna. Except its ONESIDED, where Hans is sitting there watching Kristoff and Anna be happy together while he's stuck regretting everything he did.
