It’s like 2 am, and I ran into my brothers room to jump onto his bed and whisper a threatening happy birthday. Fun times.
Well I’m back from vacation and it feels good to be in my own room by myself instead of sharing a small one with two other late teens and one pre teen
I decided to finish this, though it didn’t come out as good as I’d hoped. I just really wanted to do something with Inia in it, I haven’t drawn her since her updated ref and I missed her. I’ve had so much fun going into her character more with Faye (EyesInTheDark), especially now that she’s becoming more solid as much darker than just a morally gray character.
To kinda explain this pic, this is Inia’s “I ..am...DISGUSTED” face, which she usually gives to those she doesn’t like, in this case it’s probably her ex-husband Mwamba. For Inia, unless you’re her direct family, son-in-law, rare unofficial adoptee, or her only friend boss/king, you can fuck off to hell for all she cares. You won’t have ever interacted with her but if your presence irritated her she will make sure to spit on your grave. I love her so much.
The one thing I’m kinda happy with in this is her scars, I think they look a lot more natural here and don’t look like pasted on flesh strips.
