#026 - Statibat (Static + Bat). The Thundercloud Fakémon. Electric//Flying type. Abilities: Fluffy//Static//HA: Volt absorb.
-Dex Entry 1: They hide in caves during the day, rubbing against each other to generate large amounts of static electricity. At night, they use this charge and the earth's magnetic pull to 'fly' in the air.
-Dex Entry 2: They have no wings, but use electricity and the earth's magnetic pull to fly. They will often latch onto electrical wires and batteries so as to replenish their energy.
>>Based on: The very little Bumblebee bat/Kitt's Hog-Nosed bat (bit.ly/2nNqM1L ); Cumulonimbus clouds (thunderclouds).

#027 - Nimbat (Nimbus (as in the cloud, Cumulonimbus)/Nimble + Bat). The Radar-dish Fakémon. Electric//Flying Type. Abilities: Radar Boost*//Static//HA: Volt Absorb.
-Dex Entry 1: Although they have poor eyesight, they hunt with pinpoint accuracy thanks to their radar-like ear and antennae-like prongs. They immobilise prey mid-flight by barraging them with a combination of electrical waves and sonic booms.
-Dex Entry 2: Their radar-like ear allows them to send out powerful sonic-based attacks. They can change the frequency of these attacks by adjusting their antennae-like prongs, to best immobilise particular prey.
>>Based on: The Brown Long-eared bat (bit.ly/2n0WnhR ) - I thought its ears looked a bit like radar dishes; Radar; Radio antenna; Plug sockets (for their nose); Cumulonimbus clouds.

*Radar boost: Sound-based attacks used by this Fakémon have their base-power increased by 30%
>>New Move - Thunderclap: The user unleashes a thunderous sonic boom charged with waves of electricity upon the target. Electric type; Special category; 10PP (15PP Max); BP: 90; 100% Accuracy. Note: As a sound-based move, this attack bypasses all Substitutes. Does not work against foes with sound-blocking abilities (e.g. Soundproof).
Note: This line is my homage to those bat-type Pokémon you encounter early on in the official games, and my all-time favourite, Swoobat!
