I think this is very well composed and an interesting subject.

Well a woman's naked and curvy bared bum always gets my attention and I'm sure a few other men and maybe lesbian women would vouch for that. For the rest of the image I think the contrast between the angles of the building which is an artificial construction against both the natural outside world and the natural beauty of the nude female is what makes this art and not simply a piece of soft pornography. It's almost as if she wants to be out into the natural world but the clean lines of the artificial construction are holding her in. She can see what's there but she is constrained which is a kind of a metaphor for our modern lives these days. We are held in not necessarilly by the buildings we live and work in but by time and lifestyle constraints which we suffer. Had this model been clothed, she would simply be a woman looking out of the window but because she is not it makes one think by shedding her garments she wishes to break out of the artificial constructs in which we have become bound into and yet there is always another obstacle and our ideal is so near yet so far away. That's what I read into this image so tell me if it was intended to state something else.

I never comment on other people's perceptions of my pictures. They have to remain free of their interpretations which are as good as mine. But I have to admit that yours is particularly close to the one I had in mind when I shot this, a few years ago

I personally think the reflection looks great. It re-enforces the pressence of the window. In my opinion, her naked body pressed up against glass creates the feeling of this piece, so I think the reflections are a positive aspect of this picture.

If you keep it in French, like this, very few people would understand. An attempt at free translation would be "one being missing and all is baren". Debattable translation, I admit, as "baren" should rather be "depopulated" but that doesn't sound as nice in English as "baren"...

I thnk I like the French better. "Estar entre la espada y la pared," sounds nicer to me than between the sword and the deep blue sea. The Spanish that I originally heard it in is more lovely. Although it is a biblical reference to the hebrews fleeing pharoh on the shores of the Red Sea so it was probably originally in Hebrew. But the French sounds more poetic and so I like it thus. I will likely change my signature soon as the person that I was missing is returned however, it's nice to read a term put so nicely. For myself, I don't speak French and I can muct get by with Spanish, but it doesn't diminish my appreciation of the audible image they paint.
