("Shirebor" because this has both Ori, a dwarf from New Erebor, and Bofur, a dwarf briefly from New Erebor and then moving to the Shire in my head-canon [hence his hybrid dwarf-hobbit costume here--which I'm still not really satisfied with, I've gotta find a better color combination next time.... ]. Not to mention Aster, of course, who's obviously from the Shire.)

Ringing in the New Year, take two! Today we have my Hobbit OC Aster and her beloved "Uncle Bofur," as well as their little friend Ori, who are here to remind us--and elves everywhere--that diets (and all that green food that goes with them) are icky!

(Seriously speaking, I wish anyone starting a New Year's resolution diet good luck. My family and I are ourselves starting one too. )

awww teheheeh I have a salad every day for lunch, trying to keep myself at a healthy weight. But every now and again I get discouraged about it, and I immediately mumble, "I don't like green food..."

And yes, please, by all means do experiment with Bofur's clothes in our coming little art trade! I'd love to see what you come up with! I did rather like the little dwarven pattern I made down the front and the fringe at the bottom of his vest, but that's about all. The color mixture in particular seemed rather "bleh" to me here. So again, do whatever you want with it!

Lol this is hilarious ! They all seen grumpy about the diet idea. I bet they all just want chips and all sorts of junk food that's in the Shire You do make a point dieting and loosing weight are the most common resolutions. At first they do it then later don't go through with it.

Yes, Tron is forcing Phil to go on a diet Β and excercise because he's concerned for Phil's well-being. Everytime Tron would go with Phil for his doctor's appointment the doctor would constantly remind him to loose some weight because of health risks like diabetes, heart attacks, etc. So Tron's excuse is that he's "carrying out the doctor's order"

Oh, no no no! Dwarves and hobbits most certainly do have desserts! And breads and soups and at least SOME vegetables too, I imagine. Dwarves just known for their enjoyment of meat and butter and the like (and hobbits for their enjoyment of mostΒ ALL foods),Β whereas elves are apparently vegetarians who eat almost exclusively healthy stuff.

Aww, well, at least Tron is being concerned for him. Still, I definitely can sympathize with Phil! (He and Tron remind me of me and my grandmotherΒ in this instance.... )
