Just a small quick drawing of Rocky to get me back into it again. My work is slipping so bad fff.Rocky is *BunnyPrincessKeebi 's cat.
Title came from the gazillions of different highlight/shadow colors that I saw in the photo ref. I wanted to weep.
Dammit I want to kill my scanner. I tried to get a nice scan but it always kills the really light details. ><
Sketched with an HB mechanical pencil. Colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.

I love the details in this - I know what it's like when scanners kill details (especially in white pieces) but I can see the hard work you've put into this and it's certainly worked.

Is this the cat that is having medical issues right now? I read your sister's post about Rocky, and it makes me so sad. I'm truly sorry for you. This cat looks like my boyfriend's cat, Maggie... She's so cute and sweet, and it would break my freaking heart if I knew that she was going to die.

What a peaceful sleeper, you captured emotion here very well. I can only imagine what Rocky is dreaming of.
I have to say, it's my favorite when cats sleep like that, holding their faces n all curled up.

asdhuskhius This looks so awesommmme C:. I love the colouring work on this, I know what you mean about scanners killing colours D:. But this still looks wonderful, I love all of the delicate shading work that has gone into the fur, it looks so nice and textured. And the tonal work on the grey fur and on the background too looks awesome. Nice work on the expression
