I wish you all a happy 2015! Thanks for all the support, lovely comments, views and favs of my art last year. I hope that this year will promise more art- especially scenery, Theory of Mind, more metafelines, maybe some dragons and especially a lot of siderians. Just let me know what you wish to see more the coming year!I just wanted to draw the characters that currently invade my brain (next to Stian and actually Noiro):
- Demi- the black silver blotched siderian-javine hybrid male
- Tathra; black tabby ticked with deep red agouti javine female - Demi's girlfriend (ask MudstarMord-Sith ) for more information about her.
- Devin - the brown tabby blotched siderian-javine hybrid male
- Krisda - the black silver (and some extension genes) flamed tabby siderian female - Devin's funny girlfriend.
Demi desperately wants the shiny purple hat, but Tathra had the opinion that the red Christmas-hat fits him much better and keeps the purple one out of his reach. Krisda thought that it is funny to throw snowballs on Devin's head and to prevent him from escaping, she caught him with a scarf. However; Devin came with a nice counter-attack.
The crystal in the middle is a special type of metaphysical crystals called 'lysal'. It is a rather weak, but highly responsive and reactive crystal that converts all incoming energy into light of varying colour and intensity. This crystal is very common all over the world and metafelines use them for making projections and later for holograms (They can manipulate the inner structure of the crystal with very subtle metaphysical energy waves; send by the little metal blades on their nose and ears, and the metal components in their claws).
About metafelines; javines are a metafeline species (belonging to the felidae family; they split off from the rest of felidae slightly after the split of the sabertoothed cats, making them belong to felinae and not to machairodontinae) that are closely related to siderians. They are smaller (1.40m for males) than siderians (1.60m for males), much lighter build, have a thinner coat and live in more open, southern areas. I assume that siderians are well known for most people that follow me on DA

Haha, that is indeed a super sparkly and awesome purple hat, no wonder Demi wants it! 
I love the splatted snow on Devin's head as Krisda grabs him by the scarf! 
Wonderful lighting and shading as ever, as well as the anatomy and expressions, and the snowy bg is simple but very realistic and effective! ^^

Haha yeah once they get a bit more of a relation (Demi and Tathra) I think she may dare to tease him sometimes. However, she's still cautious with the crazy Demi. Haha and yeah Krisda and Devin are often play-fighting. Even though Devin and Krisda are nearly the same height, Krisda may be stronger but Dev faster- so that's an interseting play-fight XD.
And yaeh Javs are approx. 20cm lower at the shoulder than siderians and much lighter build. I will submit the javine reference sheet soon

Yep, I thought the difference seemed around 20cm indeed, and of course the lighter build is obvious. 
Argh, art is so behind for me since I've had a lot of work to do recently and have been in hospitals for most of the day... plus recently I've been a bit sick too... but I am finally working on another piece with a background now, but... it's gonna look terrible I'm sure, but I suppose it's a start at least.

Haha I"m very happy ye got such a happy surprise! Yeah it kinda showed the typical interactions between Demi & Tathra and Devin & Krisda. Well maybe not so typical Demi and Tathra yet - I think that will be more a later state of their relationship. Ha I hope I got D&D typical... always difficult in different poses.

Haha not to worry they are most definatly recognizable and beautiful. And ah well yeah will come later. (However I think Demi's grumpy complaining and big mouth threats will be a perminate fixture in the relationship. Even if someday he allows her to kitty kiss him (like lick or nose bump) he gives her this half smile half sneer and "I will kill you for that later girlie..." To which she just smiles of course not intimidated hehehe.

Can you get the Javine breed sheet up? I thought females were supposed to have tufts on their ears...I think Galana can be a Javine...but I can't make Tellervo one, River said they have dark eyes...Galana's eyes are fairly dark, but I can't imagine Teller having them.

Yeah indeed - they must have hurting asses after all the biting. Oh about the javine-sheet. I'm nearly finished nwo - just have to draw their habitat and add a bit more text, but the rest of the drawigns are done 
About the eyes - I think I told you already - but javs can have the same eye-colour as siderians. It's just that dark eyes can occur among javs, but not among sideries.
