My white main cheederian character Stian as kitten, hanging around in the wilderness with his niece Yava. Yava is the main character of ~RiverRavenHere are they as adults:
I’m working in my graphic novel and I wanted to try some styles with drawing backgrounds before starting the ‘serious’ drawings. I have just taken a beautiful screenshot of the movie Balto 2 (which has amazing backgrounds) as example , and I have placed those two kitties in it.
Stian and Yava are about the same age and sometimes hang around in the Scandinavian forests together, both fascinated by the beauty of the nature. Stian is mainly a solitary kid, who likes being alone…However, Stian has a kind of special and intense bond with his niece Yava, which begins in their childhood and will last until their last breath. So they could sometimes be spotted together…
Cheederians are huge (horse sized) felines with some metaphysical powers. They look in general like an Oriental cat-panthera-cheetah hybrid but the variation is enormous. Some are more cheetah-like and some are more panthera or Siamese like. So it might be clear that they are FELINE and NOT a wolf or dog wtf!! ...I'm sorry but I noticed that capslock is still needed to make the message clear >.>

Dang if I could have had a cheederian I was going to name her Yva... but that is only one letter away from Yava XD, maybe Ashinyara? (pronounced ash-in-yar-uh) That's kinda pretty and unique right?

I love this scene, your skils always blow my mind, also, Stian *u* I love the landscape, and how sunny the day looks, it gives a sensation of calm, peace, wilderness, freedom, everything!

well, she is not sure. her egyptian mau got out and when it came back it was pregnant. the kitten she has kept is completely black, exept for a white stripe on its side. she found that really odd and decided to keep her.

oh my gosh ! This is so beautiful! This is like...one of my favorite pieces of yours! I love the depth and the young Stian and Yava, the background is so breathtaking...their poses are perfect...beautiful is an understatment for this.

Thanks so much!! It's also one of my favs I think...It shows a kind of pureness...This is before Stian gets abused by humans...and the bond with Yava is also strong and lifelong...But still with a kind of distance, they hardly talk to eachother (only when one of them needs to talk) but they just like being in the wild together sometimes.

I might not have said this clearly before, but I really do love the sphere in this drawing. It's exactly like some one before me commented: they are together, not verbally communicating, but still aware of each other and feeling good about it 
Besides, this sentence is also quite capturing "...and will last until their last breath"

Gorgeous work - I love how noble Stian looks even as a kitten, and how Yava hasn't yet fully developed her trademark "exploded" fur! 
I also love how they're together yet not communicating - it's like they don't need to talk to each other etc. but just enjoy being together. <3

Thanks! Yes, he's here still 'pure' without any mental scars caused by humans. haha and if you take a very close look you can already see some little fur explosions by Yava
