Description This is the most recent line up for the Arion Royal Army.

At the top of the list is the ever popular and famous Assault Carbine 14 Individual Combat Weapon System (AC14 ICWS) Series rifle. This rifle is the staple of the ARA due to it's rugged design, reliability and flexibility to fit nearly any role on the battlefield.
Caliber 7.8 x 72 mm
Effective Range 1,110 meters

Next is the Lopine Compact 6 Personal Defense Weapon (LP6 PDW). This fire arm is a recent addition to the ARA line up with the introduction of the generation 3 SICE armor. The intention was to provide tank and vehicle operators with an efficient firearm that was small enough to remain out of the way and as an alternate sidearm to the M490 ASP.
Caliber 4.6 x 30 mm
Effective Range 200 meters

Model 490 Automatic Self-loading Pistol (M490 ASP) has been in service longer than the AC14 series. It was nearly replaced by a smaller caliber handgun before the outbreak of the
Terra War. It stayed on as the primary service pistol because of it's outstanding knockdown power and easy-to-maintain design.
Caliber 11.5 x 30 mm
Effective Range 135 meters

Arkley Sniper Platform 6 (SP-6) is an elegant weapon. It is normally issued to rapid response sniper teams along side a variant of the AC14. As shown, the SP-6 resembles that of a pistol. It is issued with a quick release barrel for easy storage and rapid transport. The most amazing feature is the bolt enclosure system, which looks like a hollowed-out bolt assembly. This rifle is planned to be superseded by the SP-7.
Caliber 10.6 x 83 mm
Effective Range 2,300 meters

Not featured is the M89 SSM Rocket Launcher, called the Sunburst. The sunburst was developed in the first years of the Terra War as an anti-land vehicle weapon. It fires a specialized 102 mm missile designed to cause a focused concussion burst meant to flip LRV's and even medium tanks with a well-placed shot. However, the sunburst gets it's name from anti-air use. A well placed shot can effectively jar an aircraft out of control forcing it to crash land or to simply slam into a nearby building or other adjacent aircraft.

Artistic license adaptations (hey, I do that, too) of the USP, MP5, MAC-10, M4, G36 and the F2000. What else did I miss?

Arkley reminds me of an F2000, most people I knew hate that gun aesthetically however I find it looks sexy as hell.

I seem to run into that a lot too, with the F2000 I mean. I like it and it's cozy.

Never held one. Not really a fan of guns outside of computer games
Looks really comfy to hold though.

I like having the opportunity to hold a variety of firearms in real life. Helps me think of how I want a firearm to feel like when I draw them.

I can't re size some of the weapons on this. For some of them, this was actual working size.

What? Why?

FelixRJ In reply to BlackShinobi [2011-03-26 23:53:41 +0000 UTC]

original working size. this is the size some of these were made at. they'll be of low quality in a larger size. I'll draw these in other full pieces later.

Ok, but why didn't you make it bigger?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FelixRJ In reply to BlackShinobi [2011-03-27 13:43:15 +0000 UTC]

Because I hadn't originally planned on uploading some the original works and had planned to use them as a personal reference.

Awesome designs.
Bullpup is the word of the day i see, LP6 PDW is my favorite of these.
I'm a noobie in you're art, so is this your own desings to fictional weapons, or IRL.
Arkley SP-6 reminds me of the real-life Magpul PDR, concept/proto of small bullpup rifle.
