Yo!
We're coming with some cool news. Our newly formed team The Hedgie is on its' way, we're still designing our characters and their backstories.Full refs should appear later this week (hopefully haha).Β
An unexpected collab with She made me a gift and I decided to make it look pretty.
Doodle sketch and concept was done by Blue, colouring and finishing by me.
I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH. I cried happy tears when I got it yesterday! Blue's Luminous is quite a playful character. Can be cocky and very, very emotional. Also cares a lot for his team and calls them his new family. He doesn't like to be ignored, so when it happens, things get serious.
Sabre however, is his opposite. He's super serious and quite reserved. Can be very blunt and emotionless. He does have a hidden inner personality which changes to only when using his Doom Orb. When that happens, he gets nuts. He is very loyal to his friends and avoids fights at any cost.
We're gonna make sheets of skills and stuff too. It's been ages since I had a Fan Character. It really feels so GOOD.
The Hedgie is made of:
's emotional team-player, Luminous (Powers: Lunar, Supernova)
's brave mercenary, Beryl (Powers: Aura, Heal)
's mad alchemist, Nero (Powers: Poison, Acid)
's insanely strong pygmy Pi (Powers: Metal, Lead)
's destructive loner, Sabre (Powers: Void, Gravity)
's G.U.N.'s forgotten weapon, Wraith (Powers: Ice, Ghost)
Oh right, I forgot to open commissions and make a list of some prices! I will do it this weekend if anyone is interested

Well, I was thinking of getting rid of the team at some point, because not much is happening rn and most of the members are busy with work.Β
I worked with Luminous' artist Blue on a few comics, but due to my lack of time it never got coloured and published... may work on it when I find the time, but I treat it more casually as a side project amongst all the art trades and collabs I still owe to people.
I'm also redesigning my Sabre atm

This is a very funny, amazing and cute collab drawing of Luminous and Sabre that you and have made! Her with the sketching/outlining and the poses and expressions, and you with the colouring and the shadings and highlights! I just love Luminous being emotional while Sabre is standing there and not responding to Luminous, while his inner personality says how flustered he is and how cute Luminous is! And I love his blushing too!

Never got a chance to say but really love Sabre's design. It's ultra unique and the colours are stunning. He seems like an ultra scary hedgie to cross

There are more comics coming up. I have come up with some stories for comics of each character how everyone meets up. You and the others can make alternate comics if you only want. It doesn't have to be 'canon' for out team anyway.
Hahaha, well.. there is an explanation to him being like that, which I will unleash in a comic. I will actually make your Wraith fight my Sabre in that comic xD there will be blood lol.
But don't worry, it's only a start up to the story, the will love each other later on. I will keep the back story of your Wraith and will not change anything. Only release some bad guy to chase your Wraith up because reasons lol.
It will be awesome and I can't wait!
Ahahaha, about the 'daddy' thing.. I would say, Wraith and Beryl are the most sensible ones on the team. Your Wraith has gone through a lot of pain in the past and is very smart and mature so. Beryl's the same I think from what Sonikku told me. Pi's innocent, Luminous - silly , Sabre with his memory lost can't be much of a use and there is Nero who is WICKED. I don't know how it will turn out but so far i have got a good idea.

If they're impressionable though, he'd be amused to teach them a thing or two about fighting
That's been Wraith's past since like 2004. It is kind of nightmarish backstory but... hey the character building is real
