This is a sequel to Continue to Live On . It's necessary that you read that first to understand what's going on here. Don't worry, it's a short (though rather heart-wrenching) read.[part 3 ]
Thank you so much for reading this far! I really appreciate it because this whole thing has just been hasty and compulsive as well as low in quality. I'm so glad to share this with you all since it has been in my mind ever since I've seen the response "Continue to Live On" received. Again, this story was made with every intent to be more happy than the prequel so any form of deep feels this might have given you are returned with an "I'm very sorry" and a gentle pap.
Special thanks to my very patient honey, ~MasterFranny who I went and cried to at every bump I faced in drawing this and has helped me a lot. Especially for dave and karkat.
Please tell me what you think of the story overall. There's not much to say about the art because it is just a sketch, I'm sorry but as far as story lines go and how I pace them, do comment. I know I have a lot to work on writing and arranging panels. Any tips on their characteristics are appreciated as well ;v;

What....have you done? Ugh. I can't even move. I'm just laying here. Like, I have officially checked out of the Can Can Hotel of Can Town, and have totally lost all of my Cans. I have no more cans. They were CANfiscated by the Can town police, and replaced by a smuppet pile of feels. Now I'm just laying here under a hypothetical pile of smuppets that represent my feels.Β
basically, that comic series overall was so good.

In the way, I don't want it to come to an end, but in the other end, it just ends so perfectly !! TT^TT
Firts, on the whole story, the first one is of course the one with the more impact, since we understand the whole situation and all, and it's sad, and human Karkat is sure perfect, and well, the first page is just so good !!
Then, when the other pages come, it's good too. Of course that's not the same impression, because we now what had happened (did I just kill the english grammar ? I think so. ,>///<,). But beside the fact I'm so glad there is something after the very first page, well, I can't help love it because it's really realistic. The feelinng is still sad, but soft (which means you make us understand Karkat very well I think), and so we wonder what comes next.
Then, the other characters try to start their new life, and since it's kind of hard sometimes, you give hope to Karkat (and to us too ;*o*; ! ).
And finally, this important page, beautiful page, with the perfect ending !! Aaw !
Yes, because before, Karkat was just a spectator. He keep living, but he looks so empty ! Just as you said on the first page.
But with the final !! Yes !! \o/ Finally, we see he starts to live again ! And we see that because of his reaction to the prank : he shouts !!! That's the first time of the story !! (okay, I guess I'm too much exciting xp).
No, but seriously, it's really full of hope ! β₯
Just two remarks.
First, I know that's just sketch, but still, sometimes it was hard for me to know to recognize some characters, especially when it came to Jane, Jake ans John (yeah I'm sorry ! T-T)
And two : here, it's just an advice, but if one day you plan do make it clean and all, I think it would be a good idea to have some colours on the last panel, when Karkat's shouting. Just as on the first page.
Because it can create a great impact.

I do agree that, yes it's hard to differentiate them. I try to put more emphasis on their glasses and hair but really, those three are very identical so it's understandable to be confused *weeps*

And the fact is that I ofte prefer to comment at the end of a story, and not page per page, I don't know why ._.
