Heck, you can pick up a Speed Graphic with a lens for a couple hundred bucks from eBay. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in photography. They are great fun, and also great learning tools.

The film vs. digital longevity argument is one we could spend days talking about; opinions, both amateur and professional, are still very scattered. However, I can say this with certainty: as long as medium format digital backs continue to cost as much as they do, film will never die.
I, for one, still prefer the look of film to digital any day. The analog warmth just looks right to me. I know there are filters and plugins that allow one to achieve the "look" of film with digital, but I just prefer to use film in the first place.
That reminds me of a theory a friend of mine has about why film looks better than digital. I think I will write about it in my journal soon.

Very beautiful - well done.
Although you say you cannot take credit - you still had to interact with the model to get what you wanted and you still to compose and choose the moment. From this photo you have made a good job this.
Well done.
