Description And here's my much loathed O.C. Hitomi, in chibi form.

Really went to town on this one, especially with the hair. I actually think it looks a little bit too fancy when compared with what she's wearing. I kinda have a hankering to draw her in a kimono or something.

This one took ages. The legs in particular just wouldn't go right. I don't think I'm very good at doing legs at the moment. I managed to get them looking okay in the end, but, being the perfectionist that I am, I'm still not entirely happy. I chose not to shade this pic for two reasons: 1 Because I didn't want to mess it up, and 2 because I haven't decided on a colour scheme for her outfit.

So anyway, Hitomi Haruka belongs to me, but Naruto and all it's concepts and stuff belong to Kishi-san.

I guess I wouldn't mind if you coloured it, as long as you credit.
The problem though is ... well I'm not sure what her colours are either. I never decided. Her hair is white of course, her skin is fair, and her eyes are pale, ice-blue. But as for her clothes, I have no idea. I guess you could just colour her outfit however you like.

I know you haven't really thought of it, but it would really help.

Hmm ... I'm trying to think about it.

Well she's definitely a "Winter". Avoid red, green, and yellow completely. I wouldn't put too much black on her, either. I suppose white, cream, soft beige, baby blue, and grey would be her colours. She could perhaps wear lavender and purple, but those are Hinata's colours, so they should be avoided.

For the picture, I'd suggest grey for the shorts, light or dark, whichever looks better. Her hoodie could be any of the above colours. If you've read my story, you may have noted that the gloves were made from the hoodie's sleeves, so they should either match or contrast with the hoodie itself. Perhaps you could match the sleeves with the hood, as with Hinata's jacket. The leg warmers can either match the sleeves or be a different colour, I'll let you decide. I'd suggest a very soft beige for the leather sandals. I suppose the only fitting colour for her hair ribbon would be baby blue to match her eyes. The hair clip is supposed to be metal - probably silver, perhaps with a blue gem for the eye. A similar silver on the kunai would keep it from standing out too much.

Overall, I'd suggest a very light, soft colour scheme - perhaps even a little muted. Anything too bold would detract from the hair, which is the focal point of the picture. In fact, I think it'll need a background colour so it stands out more. A graduated pale blue would probably be best for that. And don't be afraid to shadow the hair a little with a very soft grey.

There I was saying I had no idea how she should be coloured, and now I'm dictating every detail. Feel free to ignore my advice if you want. This is all just theory. I actually have no idea how to colour, honestly.

I'll always love Hitomi, I always will. She looks super cute here, but I think the distance from her eyes to her ears is a little too long. I know you weren't going for realism here, so it's nothing to worry about. I do like her hair and was impressed that her pony tail wasn't just a circle curve off her head, but came in locks. That's something that I myself never really realized, and now will be drawing in the future. Nice job anyways!

Thanks. She doesn't really have as much hair as that of course (like anyone could). But it's a chibi, so why not? I have a thing for long hair so I decided to go nuts!

As I said in the artists comments, I haven't decided on a colour scheme yet. Plus I've never actually coloured anything, so I don't really know how. Besides, I'm working on my writing at the moment.
