Normal version and original design:

*Bruised and beaten version note: after LeinadDrawsFeet requested to see Spark's bare toes, instead of just drawing a barefeet version I decided to redraw everything with battle bruises and torn clothes. The orange portion of her outfit must be made of a really frail tissue as after her fight (which she probably won, judging by her face expression) very little of it is remaining. The black, hard leather parts of her outfit instead are still there.

So after being very busy with commissions and requests lately, here I am with some "personal" work. After 10 years (9 and some months, to be honest) I tried to redesign my old Original Characters.
This is again such a special and emotional deviation for me (even if it's going to make much less views and interactions than my most recent posts featuring very popular characters from famous franchises).
So, for the ones interested in this story: back in 2014 I started developing some Original Characters for a fictional all female fighting game, basing them on The Fighting Game Archetypes I wrote down in the same year. You can have a look at the original character sketches here:

The first 3 chars I redesigned were these ones:

And now I'm redesigning this Powerhouse character, called "Spark". Originally born as a female version of Ralph from The King Of Fighters series, she was developed as a strong hitting character. 10 years later she lost the red in her outfit (which I made exclusive of the character Crimson, to make her more unique) in favor of a signature orange one, closer to the element of fire she represents. She's one of the few non-barefoot of my Original Characters, and this gets me excited quite a bit, since it makes me curious to imagine how her (big) feet could look like. Speaking of big things, she's the tallest character of the cast.
My friend ToricandHornycles asked for a commission for his character Hornycles and he was featured together with Spark, given his extremely peculiar power to get stronger while riding a muscular strong woman. You can see the commission here:
