Description The Prince of Dvor is, objectively speaking, the most powerful man in Vorost. After the Tsar, of course.
Or perhaps even before the ruler.
The givane lord of all Vorost, in fact, regards the general as the father he has known little to nothing and blindly trusts his judgement.

With the power in his hands, Prince Dvor could easily have turned the Tsar into a mere puppet, as he has done on other occasions in the past. This did not happen. The prince is loyal. If not personally to Dusan II, to whom he is nevertheless very close, at least to the idea that the empire must have only one leader. Divinely chosen by the Goddess and absolute ruler of his people.
If Dusan became a mere puppet of Dvor, what would happen to the empire?

Of course, Rogek is completely aware of the power he possesses as his lord's most trusted advisor. And if he deems it necessary, he does not hesitate to use it.
For example, he supports Dusan in modernising Vorost's army and fleet, but regards the young Tsar's progressive ideas as foolish, dictated by youth and inexperience. And unfortunately inflated by the influence his own children, Zivan and MIlenka, have on Dusan as his best friends.

Moreover, the old general has no sympathy for the ideas that occasionally cross Dusan's mind, to get rid of the other advisors.
Rogek more or less shares the idea that the state council (although not formally established) is filled, at least half of it, with useless aristocrats who do not even know how to manage their fiefdoms, but apart from being a convenient scapegoat for any failures of the ruler, some of these nobles are nonetheless experienced politicians or military men, even if a little old

The general has a problem, which he cannot avoid. Dusan II has decided to appoint Zivan Minister of Culture.
Despite the young age, the young Dvor showed a considerable intelligence and ability, both as an artillery officer and as a student at the University of Warric, in Paithe, where he studied.
The problem is that Zivan has even more radical ideas than those of the sovereign ...
