Description
PAAN troops are recruited from among the entire population, based on census.
To avoid the formation of mono-ethnic regiments, recruits are divided into the various regiments equally.
The PAAN army is essentially a defensive army, which is capable of deep defence but has little capacity for attack. As could be seen in the War of Reduction, when the army of the then African Alliance tried to attack, it ended up being overwhelmed by the imperial troops.
