Description Callisto is the second-largest moon of Jupiter and the farthest from the planet. Along with Ganymede, Callisto has undergone the most extensive terraforming by the Far Future Foundation.
Unlike Ganymede, however, the terraforming process has encountered more resistance on Callisto. The poles are too cold to be habitable, and the lack of ice makes it difficult to maintain an atmosphere across the entire moon. Nevertheless, within the numerous craters created by meteoric impacts, forests now grow and lakes can be found.
Callisto is inhabited by populations of European and African origins. Although the precise origin of these populations is not clear, everything seems to indicate that they come from sub-Saharan West Africa and Southern Europe. However, like other peoples in Galileo, assimilation into the imperial culture is now a given fact for the inhabitants of Callisto.
In theory, the duchy is the domain of the young Jacob, but currently, it is governed by a regent, awaiting the prince's coming of age.

In the image, you can see a soldier of the local militia, the Callisto's Carabinier. They are a rapid response regiment whose primary purpose is to defend the person of the Duke. However, they are also utilized as public security forces in military theaters or occupied territories. On Earth or Mars, they are a rather common sight as they patrol the streets of cities.
