Description
Balmik is the second throne on which the Archduke of Haermark sits.
The Balmiki are a people with ancient military traditions, who were very often in the front line against the Eshari empire.
Passed on around the 12th century to the rulers of Haermark, they have always remained a loyal and faithful state.

Balmik has its own administration and also has its own army. Balmik's army consists mainly of cavalry, in order to be able to counter the Eshari cavalry, but recently a reform of the infantry was also introduced, which increased the number of divisions in the kingdom from six to twelve.

Siklon is a commoner, and the infantry army is the only chance for him to make a career, although it is unlikely that he will be able to rise above the rank of captain, as Balmik is a more class-conscious state than Haermark and hardly allows non-nobles to hold military posts. However, since the infantry army is considered less prestigious, a limited career possibility exists here for everyone.

It will be interesting to note the innovative cut of Balmik's uniforms, which, having no precursors to take inspiration from, was quite creative. Instead of the shako, the typical cap of the infantry army (or of the hussars, for example), a kepi more typical of the police force than of armies was used.
