here it is!! i know i said i would have it up yesterday or the day before that, but i had to resand it because the paint was bubbling for some reason. plus, the gloss had to dry. the cylinder does actually spin fluidly. this key is extremely shiny because it is metallic silver and it has the gloss. took about 10 hours mostly carving the head. everything was hand carved, including the little studs on the handle. THEY WERE SO HARD TO KEEP STILL WHILE I SANDED THEM. anyway, that makes one complete pair of keys for otakon, this and oathkeeper.Aother pic: [link]

I know right? Im gonna have a professional metal casting shop cast all of my keys for me. I could do it eventually, but i havent started that type of metal work yet.

I'm really bad at crafting in real life ;-;
Though, I made myself a wooden sword for or schools Renaissance Fair, a bunch of kids wanted it, someone offered me $50 xD
But I kept it so I could paint it, now it lives in my closet. c:
Also, the sword is almost as tall as I am yet I can wield it perfectly fine, which is huge success xD

Nah, I don't have any decent camera. But, since I'm 5'1/2", I think it's about 4 feet long including the hilt.

It's all one piece of wood, too. Which makes it pretty sturdy.
The blunt blade is not solid colour, just used red watercolour as a stain over the actual wood, hilt is flat black with white sponged on designs.
