Tim Drake

A 19 year old Gothamite, Tim Drake had a pretty normal childhood in a home of loving parents. He has always excelled in school but not really in sports. He immersed himself in all types of sciences but above all loved software and computer engineering. Approaching his senior year of high school at age 17, he pursued an internship with Wayne tech, working as luscious fox's assistant in their software engineer program. He would regularly bump into Bruce Wayne but would always be asked to leave the office.

Over the next few months he deduced that Batman is Bruce Wayne using his natural deductive reasoning and detective skills. He then hacked the secondary batcave underneath Wayne tech where all the older models of batman tech are stored as well as any new research projects. Having lost Jason Tood several years ago, Batman was reluctant to have a new Robin but was incredibly impressed by Tim’s detective skills and intellect. Tim has far surpassed Bruce's expectations of his intelligence, having hacked the batcave, deduced Batman is Bruce Wayne and also managed to upgrade many features of the batcave including the 3-d batarang printer and the built in rebreather in the batsuit. Batman along with nightwing and lady shiva train Tim Drake in every form of martial art to the point of being a master himself. Usually relies on outsmarting opponents and using gadgets during combat rather than brute force and athleticism.

Tim loves comic books, pc video games and chess. He often loves taking things apart to then study and reverse engineer it. He is very neat, tidy and responsible.

Now he is a member of the Teen Titans based out of San Francisco, mainly functioning as their ninja geek. He will occasionally be called upon by Batman for extra assistance in Gotham.

Armor

A more advanced and balanced version of the conventional robin suit, it comes equipped with all the same features as well as some additional ones. Under the layer (black parts) is a breathable, light armor that hides his heat signature, is completely waterproof and insulates his body from electricity and high temperatures. The harness, shoulder pads, forearm braces and shin guards are kevlar/nomex/titanium reinforced heavy duty braces, meant to take a lot of punishment from ballistic and blunt forces. Entire suit is slash proof. Reinforced braces are puncture proof. All gear and electronics are emp proof. Bio monitor and tracking device are built into suit. Feet are designed to leave no sound and, increase grip and minimize impact from jumping.

Mask has a standard array of visual and audio aids such as infrared/night vision, binocular vision, auto-light adjusters, video/camera fpp, HUD (lie detector, bioscanner, facial recognition). An advanced addition is the deployable Mask rebreather for scuba or hazard scenarios. Earpiece protects ears from high pitch sounds. Built in radio scanner as well as a secure 2 way comlink.

Gadgets

This was probably the funnest part to draw and think of. I wanted him to have features of his suit/utility belt that no other Robin has ever had or could think of. These are things he has invented and now uses.

3D printer Disc dispenser- a miniaturized 3D printer (much like the one in the batcave to make batarangs) that produces titanium throwing disks. EverytimeTim presses down on the circular dispenser, a disc comes out and another is produced.

Advanced Holographic computer- touch sensitive holographic computer with various purposes and features. Can project schematics of an object if it is in the batcave files, advanced hacking, navigation, and can access batcave files. From the gauntlet, Tim can activate a signal jammer as well as remotely detonate explosives.

Active Camo- of Tim's design, Far in the future than batman's cloaking technology. Using cameras, the cape mimics whatever is around it for a limited time. Can only use it a few times because it drains the suit's power. Fabric can be used as a glider but can be ripped.

Titanium/carbon Bo Staff- signature weapon, collapsible to fit comfy on his lower back, stun electrodes are on each end of staff

Tactical Slingshot- collapsible, incredibly accurate slingshot. Pellets/ammo located in bandolier

This concept is inspired by Dc comics movies, video games, comics and TV shows.

Inspiration from a gotham knights concept art of different skins. I really liked the use of a slingshot for Tim Drake. I always loved the bandolier in his designs and wanted to incorporate that into his utility. I like his Mask designs better than his full cowl designs and went for a mixture of both.
