*sigh* I still remember the day that I sat down and colored this. I'd been so proud by the end and then I realized that I'd gone about coloring the really complicated and stupid way. Years of experience...thank you.

Ooh! He's beautiful! Granted, I love Seiten Goku more than anyone else in Saiyuki, but he's still very very pretty. The toushin robes look very good on him, I never thought about that.
My only quibble is that his hair, erm...seems more tilted than the rest of him. Strange, I know, but that's the impression I get. Wait, and another. The shadow and hair over his right eye probably shouldn't be the same color, because it sorta sticks out. A gradient shade on his skin that gradually fades into the hair-shadow would make it smoother. Granted, I don't know what you used to make this or how convenient it would be to change, so feel free to ignore me.
But he's still very sexy.

you're totally right...pretty much on all your commentary. This is one of those images that is wonderful to your eyes when you first finish, but looking back, you realize that you really didn't actually know what you were doing. I was trying to figure out how to color in PS(and still am), so I really want to do a re-color of the image....I figured out a lot of stuff since the first try.
Thanks so much for the comment, and the fav! I'll let you know when version 2.0 is complete. ^__^

Your art's just getting so good, hon. I know I've said it so many times before, but I'm proud of your growth.
I like his vacant expression, and his hair falling over his shoulder. And, well, his shoulder. The angle of his body is well done and the folds of his fabric are quite good.

Thanks! I've been taking time to actually do art lately and it's amazing how much of a difference there is just from me contemplating what it is I don't like about my other stuff and what I do like about other people's stuff. I think I could have pushed a bit harder with the contrast of light and shadow, but I'm overall pleased with this particular experement. I'm in the process of toying with another idea for getting my art into photoshop for further manipulation and so far it's working out really well! I'll post when I'm done, but I'm not sure when that will be.
