A painting of Fewston reservoir in Yorkshire, it was pissing it down at the time XD-Ink and Watercolours with a little Acrylic

I love the amount of colour in the grey and how everything blends together in a rainy grey day way. The details are great, especially how you reflected the trees without changing them at all. I'm ipressed with how much the water looks like water.
I'm still working on a backlog in my inbox since last April.

I don't have a black in my watercolour set, so in order to use grey, I have to mix it. Which allows greyscale work to have hints of life and colour, not just watery black. It's a great technique to avoid dead work.
I don't think I ever use black paint.. ever... XD

Everytime I went out to draw over the holidays it just rained on me, so I decided to draw the rain without the cheesy raindrops everywhere XD

I feel so special, and I know you meant it in a good way, what I meant was I wasn't even looking at it that way.. XD I was just trying to make it look like it was wet and horrid out, anything else is a bonus.
