The sense of motion in this is amazingly natural and life-like. There is a real tactile velocity to it that draws me into the image. Incredible work.

That's all right; even the folks at Disney used live action as the basis for the animation in films like Peter Pan and Cinderella. If you used a photo, you're in good artistic company!
