Description
Our customer commissioned us to create the outfit for the main female character for a girl's camp (www.captivenia.com/ ) The outfit needed to be beautiful and practical for outdoor use and camping. We used a silver brocade for the main dress and dark silver suede for the underbust corset and neck corset. Both the dress and neckcorset are decorated with silver trim and crystals.Related content

Wow, I adore this. As much as I think all of your designs are very, very pretty, my favorites have always been your simpler pieces. My personal taste just lends itself more to simplicity than extravegence....well at least to very well tailored and expensive simplicity, admittedly. But this takes the cake for me. If I could get away with wearing something like this every damn day of my life I would; neutral color palet, close fitting bolero, beautiful tailored lines, all it needs is a splash of deep red, purple, or turquoise somewhere and it would quite simple be My Favorite Outfit made reality. Seriously beautiful craftsmanship, the owner of this piece is very lucky.

The colors compliment each other beautifully, and asymmetrical sleeves give the outfit a powerful appearance. Lovely work!

Oh my God, I've visited the camp's site and it looks like an amazing idea, I'm stunned, I didn't even know such a thing existed! I'm not much into the religious aspect but it looks so cool. Perfect for fantasy/roleplaying lovers from a young age *w*
And the dress, as everything you create, is absolutely marvelous.

I agree I think its a great idea too! I just wish it wasn't so religious based. Ah well, perhaps someone else will take this idea and decide to open up a camp that isn't centered around religion

That would be amazing. The feeling I get from this was that a roleplaying fan was reaaally into D&D, but their tastes were looked down upon by their religious neighbors, so they wondered... "Is there a way to slid my harmless nerdiness for fantasy past the radar and thus find more people like me?"
And so the epiphany came: "YES!! I shall combine both Christianity AND D&D, and no one will ever call me a Satan worshipper ever again!! They won't even notice!"
And their masterplan succeeded and now we have cool Christian fantasy-themed camps XD Well... USA has it. I wish there were some in Spain T_T

Haha! That'd be hilarious, but actually a lot of Christian circles are really into medieval fantasy, especially Narnia and Lord of the Rings - arguably, both works have a truckload of religious metaphors, especially Narnia - and this looks pretty LotR/Narnia inspired, so I'll bet it was meant to be Christian from the start.
Sorry for the inner Christian/fantasy nerd explosion XD *slinks away*

I know right xD It looks really really great, but the whole religious thing :s Especially because kids with other religions could really feel excluded while they may love the rest of it. Nontheless omg you get to shoot a bow and arrow.

Yeah, wearing pretty dresses and playing the fairytale and shooting arrows might be worth enduring the masses XDD I know some people find solace in them and actually enjoy them, but I don't know... At least in my country (Spain) they're too solemn, too dark. They fill me with a feeling of sadness that's hard to describe, despite being a spiritual person.
But yeah, bow and arrows, let the Christian Katniss begin!!

I've never been to many ceromony's, but our eh, vicor? I think you call it in English is really nice though,
his son is one of my gaming buds and he makes sure we have an open spot at the comunity center every month to hang out with a few friends.
Plus.. great bacon pancakes, but the general preaches and the little church community it self have never been very attractive to me
But hey I'm all for the Christian Katniss And maybe swordfights, because swordfights.

I don't think so ^^ Who decided dresses are a girl thing anyway? I think it's beautiful too, but I'd still never wear it even though I'm a girl. I love this gallery but purely for aesthetic reasons, I don't do dresses.
