I was going to pay homage to one of her two immortalized moments of ticklish-footed infamy... but I decided the best thing to do, knowing that it'd be silly to compete with legendary moments, was to arrange my own!

So back to the 1930's we go!

Our favorite tren-fueled degenerate Bluto vividly recalls Olive's history of surrendering to that sweet sole-grazing touch, and her chance visit to the worksite (let's presume he and ol' Popeye have had their standard Act-1 bout and the latter is cleverly channeling some industrial metaphor into his bicep to liberate himself from the mouth of a shark) puts her in peril of Bluto's famously unwanted affections. After a quick employ of surrounding equipment and the herculean strength already at his disposal, Bluto has the lanky lass situated firmly so that he can offer his proposal without interruption!

Of course her first response was a huffy and shrill "No!" followed by a verbal dress-down of the big lug. That's where it pays to be observant!

And so as tradition beckons, the nefarious sea-dog rips the insoles from Olive's imposing Size 28 boots. He then traces a pair of feathers across the impressive lengths of her massive feet, urging her to reconsider. He even flaunts the ring he "found" at the pawn shop! Olive will of course burst in a hearty cackle, protest and scream for rescue with her iconic Atlantic accent, but with every second passing that her forearm-heavy hero doesn't show up, she's forced to wonder how long her terribly ticklish feet can withstand such unbearable coercion!
