So true. This happens to Sally Acorn from the sonic series. she IS NOT A MARY-SUE. She isn't perfect she isn't goddess like. She's a Chipmunk or Squirrel that's Royalty.

I just read a post by someone saying that Sally's a Mary Sue....c'mon...are there Mary Sues in that comic? I have some gaps to fill...but I haven't noticed any Mary Sues...in fact, I never used to think about Mary Sues until I started hearing about them....

I never heard of a Mary-sue until i saw a stamp calling Sally a Mary-sue and i looked up what it meant. I've only read a Few sonic comics and seen a few episodes of Sonic Satam but Sally is no Mary-sue.

About Mary Sues...I think I found one. Now I haven't read the issue, but Lara-Su, Knuckles' daughter seems a bit "Sue"ish...I liked her before, but after I heard she took out Shadow the Hedgehog in the future by using a stronger Chaos Control than him, I started getting a little tired.
And then, an alternate Lara-Su becomes Enerjak in some weird way, but isn't possesed by the spirit...it's a bit annoying.
Other than that, I like her...

I think people are BIASED AS HELL when it comes to these things, yet they call themselves critics. They judge a character subjectively because...they hate a character. However, if they like a character they say this "They are not Sues because they are well-rounded" or something.

Yes I especially hate Canon Sue argument unless there's really good reasoning and the person is mature enough to realize that others don't feel that way.
