Description After doing my "Mewtwo Quote" [link] I decided to do my other favorite and also popular quote from Pokemon The First Movie. "Yep. That's right!" Meowth!

Here's the first picture that I saw with this quote that I had saved long before making this image: [link]

However, that picture isn't really part of my style (too much white space!); so I went farther outside the box than with my Mewtwo Photoshop.

For some reason the actual website wouldn't load, but the picture did thanks to Google Images.

I used a color overlay on Meowth to change his outline and used a large sized eraser on the background to the spotlight I wanted.

I really hope the episode/movie designers look back on what they had in the early days, and reincorporate what's been missing in the past couple of regions.

I've only seen up to the Movie 4Ever and hardly any of the anime after the original season/series. But I do believe the first two movies to be very inspirational.

An awesome quote, to say the least. It's been ages since I've seen the first Pokemon movie, so running into this was something of a treat. Meowth has actually had quite a few cool moments in his anime form, and this was probably the coolest of all.

Nice work on this, too. That picture of Meowth really pushes the point along further in terms of being insightful and meaningful, and overall, your choices when it comes to putting the image together were solid and with purpose. Couldn't help but want to this when I saw it.

Thank you so much for the kind comment! I also hadn't seen the original in years, then BAM! It was on sale. I had to buy it and watch it. Brought back so many memories. I am glad that seeing this was a treat for you. This one and the Mewtwo version tend to my most popular works. Meowth is such a deep character for a Pokemon that it's intriguing.

I've always thought about that as well! There are many times where they end up helping Ash and his friends. I think their wishy-washy ideals is what makes them interesting characters. You never really know quite what they're thinking....

Yeah, they seem to play the trickster archetype, much like Catwoman, Spawn, and many other characters who strattle the line between good and evil. Maybe they are the tricksters of the bunch...

So very true. He just kinda got stuck with Team Rocket anyways. I think it's more like he looks out for himself; so that can come off as "evil" or mean sometimes.

yeah. when Meowth lets his guard down, you can see how he once was: a Pokemon who just wanted to be loved. Even when he's alone with Pikachu he's nice. Oh! and he's helped May out a few times. there was this one episode where May and Meowth went back in time and changed the future to help a young woman. Yes, MEOWTH helped May. i was like 'YES!'. So i believe Meowth is actually just very lonely and in need of a true friend. he's even helped Ash and Co. out a few times.

I know! Meowth has great character development for a Pokemon. I actually haven't seen the season with May. I just recently got seasons 1-9; so now I can -most of the way- back up. lol. It'll take quite a while to watch all of them though. x] Teehee.

Eclipse is awesome, but I wouldn't recommend watching Breaking Dawn UNLESS you're ready for some ALMOST-R rated material. They actually depict the honeymoon scene quite well, and the birth scene is VERY...interesting. You have to watch it to understand. I think only a hardcore Twilight fan could stand the birth scene. I managed to stay and watch it. but only just. my MOM had to leave the room! she couldn't handle it. so ONLY watch Breaking Dawn: Part 1 if you are COMPLETELY ready for pretty deep romance and images of blood. Lots of blood.

After reading the books, I was wondering if they were going to make Breaking Dawn rated R or not. I'm curious to see it to see how they were able to NOT make it rated R. lol.
