Description
First time screentoning, half the time was spent checking how screentones are used in a manga and which ones are used according to the situation. I was honestly expecting to spend way more time on this piece.

This one is based on two things, one panel from the 6th manga volume of Tales of Symphonia (the one about Colette's twelth birthday, if you've read it you know which panel the sketch refers to) and a one-shot plot-bunny of mine (which I haven't finished and uploaded anywhere) in which Kratos and Anna decided to leave Lloyd in an orphanage before going to Iselia in case they were attacked by Desians on the way. Since I'm the one writing, OF COURSE it goes badly: Desians of the Palmacosta Ranch seize the orphanage for some host bodies and possible Fallen recruits (my headcanon says 3 years old children can't be turned into host bodies or the raw exspheres would kill them almost immediately without gaining any nourishment from the host body).

Since Lloyd is too young to be a host body, he'd be raised to be a loyal Fallen and to take care of the dirty jobs no half-elven Desian wants to do, though if he's skilled enough he could raise ranks. Aaron the Human Traitor is a General, one rank (two, if we count the Prelates too) short of Grand Cardinal, higher ranks can be filled by Fallens.

Damn, Kratos simply can't win and I don't even hate or dislike him.
