Beautiful. Perhaps shoot from ground level to heighten the sense of scale and verticality. I'd be interested to see how this would work in B&W. (I have similar B&W shots in my gallery.)

I had to do a double take when I saw this photo! I took one very similar during a hike in North Carolina. But I have to admit that this one makes a much stronger impression. You have quite a gallery and it's always nice to come across another nature photographer.

This is gorgeous. I love how the sun peeks through and flares towards me from behind the tree, and the stark black of the tree trunk against the light. The greenery and the sunlight makes the scene such a serene one, with a hopeful overtone to it. *smile*

i love how the light is almost radiating in a circular fashion. beautiful colours too. i see u have the same problem with purple/pink tinting around bright areas. what camera do u use? great work anyhow

good shot, because the position and the lightning ist great. but i would say the contrast is too high. and the blue lines at the contrast black (wood) - white (sunlight) distrub the situation. but that's not your fault, what camera do you use? i guess it's because the camera is too bad for these contrasts!

Lovely shot mate. You've captured this so well... I really think the greens you've caught are beautiful, they are just enough to add some good colour to this photograph without going overboard. All the trees look awesome as well, I really like the few closet to you and their shadows come right back at you. You've done a great job to minimize the light from the sky as too much of it would be extremely overpowering and ruin the photo. Excellent job!

like i said, it may just be my personal preference, but i like the black border a lot more.. i makes the sunlight seem even warmer, for some reason

Yeah, I like the black border more as well. It becomes more concrete and closed, not letting the sun out, and seems just more cozy in general. Personally I didn't like the white light that seems to be dominating the upper part of the picture, and it got just more enchanced with white border, hehe. Thanks for your opinion!
