I work at a fire depot. Somehow, this picture is very good, it sais nothing, and a lot at the same time.

I know all to well what that's like! I'm on a dept in my town.

me too...I was a volunteer for 16 years, many times felt that way.

Not on the dept anymore...I bought a business that takes a lot of my time, and was always away from the family had to cut back on some of my extra-curricular activities. I do miss it though, don't miss the politics...but miss fighting fires. We are under a Red Flag warning today for forest fires, wouldn't be surprised if I have to go shoot photos sometime today of a wildland fire...nasty dry here this spring.

Oh the politics I definitely try to stay as FAR away as I can from them. And even then some of the guys always try to drag you into it. Especially when it's time for elections. I only come around the fire house at that time when there is a call and then I go right home afterwards!
