I have finally caught some time to draw fanart of him. I love him so much ;A; I would definitelly use him for start
I really wish the game was coming out for 3DS too. I have played almost every single pokemon game so far, but I don't have a switch console ;---;
Btw I got to practice animating a little bit XD
Wow. I need to practice A LOT
I would really appreciate if someone gave me any advices on how to make things more smooth and natural.

As much as I understand your desire to stay 3ds, it’s an old console now and a new one is on the riseNot to mention the switch has greater potential than the 3ds, they can only push 3ds so far! //even with “newer models” the original came out in 2011! Pretty long ago now//Their final title was usum, they actually did a similar thing as ds to 3ds, because we had b&w then the 3ds was coming out soon or just came out and instead of doing the first pokemon title of the new console they did B2 & W2 as one last title on the 3ds first It sucks to have to buy a new console, usually I don’t if it’s like wii vs wii U but I am going to save up for a switch, sure it’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it—it’s not like I’ll only be playing one game on it, plus the part that excites me the most is the fact that it’s handheld and TV console at the same time! That’s something I always kind of wanted tbh. And it’s good it came out 2017 instead of several years earlier because we have better technology. Not to mention pokemon on tv in itself is exciting as well like an actual solid classic pokemon rpgBut anyway it’s still pretty fresh news so we don’t know much yet but they are probably going to do things with the game the 3ds would not be able to handle so trying to squeeze out yet another game on 3ds would probably be disappointing because there’s a newer better system that has more potential. I also look forward to animal crossing on switch, it’s still only a leak and no actual trailer (just a teaser) but it’s another franchise that I love!

It is not about console itself. I know how great is switch and its titles. I was very impressed, when I saw it for the first time.
It is mostly about prices.
In countries like USA buying something like that isn't a big deal. 200-300$ is like buying a toy when someone earns 1000-2000$ monthly. Here an average "student age" person earns about 500$ per month, and the switch is even more expensive. I haven't found any for less than 300$ (to compare 3DS can be bought for 90$, and even when it was a fresh big deal new ones were for around 150$)
I want to buy and try for myself the console, but in order to do that I would either have to give up extra classes and preparing for uni so I can do more commissions, or limit traveling.
I will probably try hunting for console like this when my exams are over and I could focus only on work.
I really want to get my hands on new zelda, sonic forces (despite bad opinions) and new pokemons.
I wish there was something like switch for poor people with smaller screen, only one control or something like that XD

Yeah I get it makes sense, this is the first time I need to save up myself to get a new console though, when I was younger I was able to persuade my parents to get one if it was like my bday gift or xmas gift, but those days are over. They won't mind if I use my own money tho.
Well they might do something of some sort eventually, but it's still pretty new, idk when the first 2ds came out but it took a while, I believe because of the no 3d it was probably a bit cheaper than original (and iirc the 2ds models were not foldable)
Also regarding pricing...yeah but it's better to compare TV console prices when they were in their prime, they aren't gonna price a dual console at the pricing of handheld, since it's handheld and TV; but games are pricey too rip

Even when I was a kid I had to save for up for anything non "educational" myself, so at lest I am more prepared for this newest quest XD My family really hates when I spend anything on game related stuff ;-;

For me it was usually something I could convince if it was the only gift from them, and if TV consoles it was a "shared" present between my sisters and I
We actually got more lucky with ps3 because we got the one that lets you play ps2 and they wanted to play sing star (and some of them were only on ps2 that they wanted)

Lmao nope, hence my mentions of needing to save up for one. I think the best method for me would be to gradually start putting money aside maybe in an envelope or something labelled switch money. Because then if I get tempted to spend, it can be easier to lose track then regret it later when I wanted to save up. I will probably save up more than 300 because there's other things to take into consideration ( I do live in US)

I know nothing about Pokemon but I love seeing art of the cute little things. ♥
As for advice, I'd say the same as Tea said. More frames to make it more smooth and some references for how fins move, not that the fins move awkwardly but to see if they're animated correctly, and possibly how a chameleon's feet look like!
The blinking is very smooth, I guess you were going for that kind of smoothness to the fins and tail. ; v ;

Hmm.. For advice on making it look more smooth, The only thing i can guess to do, is put more frames in between, I know that is more work, But thats the only thing i know, for that.
And maybe look at how fish fins move in the water? I personally would try to draw a basic line squiggle, so i could map out how i would want the things to move.
I know these arent the best advices, and You may already know this, But i wanted to give ya something!
I know every time you make an animation, you improve alot!
And they are just so hard to make, and so time consuming.
