Remakes of [link] and [link] by . This is Anetiv and Vamoiselle, and the first remake of his Lovecraftmon for my game.
Okay, so these are more fakemon for Pokemon Lovecraft, and are based on the Penanggallan, a floating head with its organs trailing from it. I've changed the name "Vampetit" to "Anetiv", so I hope that's okay with you Orima.
I'd also like to change the typing, but I'm not sure to what for now. So for now they're still pure dark type. I think these turned out quite well. Only the females evolve exist.Wait... these still don't have legs. Please, have mercy !

These are really cool!
I definitely can see the resemblance to the Penanggallan (which I just learned about thanks to Wikipedia and is now definitely in my category of "coolest monster ideas ever").
I remember reading a comment of yours somewhere that Vamoiselle is also based upon the newishly introduced Cthulhu Mythos being Yidhra, or is that another creature?
If it is based upon Yidhra, I remember reading that Yidhra sometimes shows benevolence towards humans and presents herself in beautiful, if scary and strange, forms that make humans more comfortable, so people assume that her true form is human-like; but when she reveals it to trusted followers they see that these are nothing more than disguises: she is horrifying and does not at all meet human standards of beauty. So my thinking is that a final stage of this line could appear radically less human than the previous stages, demonstrating a progression. Maybe her heart and intestines elongate towards the ground, or her "head" erupts into a chaotic mass of feelers and organs, for example.

Ooh, I LOVE how Vampetit came out. What does Anetiv mean, though?
Although, why would only the females evolve, instead of there only being females? In the folklore, there's no such thing as a male penangallan.

Thanks! And... well, I scrwed with the name so much I don't even remember. There were multiple changes in some way, but... eh, just though it needed something more vague than Vampetit.

And if you ant to change the types, best way to go is Dark/Ghost.

I don't think we have to worry about an overflow of Dark-types yet. The appearences may not be the darkest, but as far as I'm aware, we only have two lines of Dark types who have excellent reasons for being Dark types.
One eats unborn babies, and the other uses another animal's as its cocoon. I think the bar has been sufficiently raised. The fact that two of the first I made were Dark is mere coincidence, I swear.
