You skipped down the stairs happily, but you didn't hear anything going on at all downstairs. This wasn't a strange thing when it came to your butler, Heracles Karpusi. As devilishly handsome as he was with soft, brown locks of hair and green eyes, as well as a greek accent, he was lazy. Very lazy. So lazy that people questioned why he was even a butler.

But he did things for you, like cooking, or cleaning, then he would disappear to take a nap or go play with a cat.

You looked around the mansion for him, and when you got into the foyer, a movement outside your window caught your attention. There you saw your butler, holding a few cats, one on his head, a few on his lap, and another around his shoulders. You wondered where all those cats came from, but hey they were kind of cute.

You opened the front door and Hercules looked up at you.

"Oh, Lady ________," he said a little slowly. "I was just playing with these cats and I seemed to have lost track of time." he said, making a move to start removing the cats from him.

You waved a hand to stop him and sat down next to him, "It's okay. Where did all these cats come from?"

Hercules tipped his head, "Oh, I'm not sure. They all just came to me... do you want to hold one?"

"Yes!" you said as Hercules picked a brown cat with a white belly up off his lap and put it in yours. Instantly, the cat looked up at you before nuzzling your stomach and purring. You ran your hands over the cat's soft fur with a little smile.

"Whoops," Hercules said with a bit more emotion then you heard him speak with before. "You're going to get cat hair all over your dress... don't worry, I'll wash it for you, okay?" he asked, looking up at you.

You just nodded, "Yeah, but it's fine. Cats are kind of cute..."

Hercules smiled a bit, "Yeah. Cats are amazing. They're so cute, and they can do whatever they want when they want to do it. They don't have to worry about working or anything like that... I wish I was a cat..." he said wistfully.

You frowned and blinked, "But if you were a cat then..." you were about to say something like, 'then you couldn't be my butler' or 'then I couldn't love you', but you stopped yourself before saying either of those. "I guess being a cat wouldn't be so bad..."

Hercules nodded, "There's only one thing I like more than I like cats," he said with a slight blush and glanced at you.

"What would that be?" you asked and tipped your head.

The Greek twiddled his thumbs, "You, my lady..." he said softly and your face turned red.

"M-Me? Really?" you asked.

"Uh huh," Hercules said with a slight smile. "You."

You blushed and looked down at the cat that was now peacefully nuzzled against you. It meowed softly and you smiled.

"I like you too Hercules," you said hesitantly and he looked up.

"More than cats?" he asked, and the slight randomness of the question made you chuckle.

You leaned over and kissed your butler on the cheek, "Yes, more than cats~"
