"Harry Potter, the boy who lived!"What? Could this be? The very first serious Harry portrait I've ever done??!
I went right over the previous Hiccup doodle... might make this a series of my favorite boys. c:
Been having a little bit of a stressful new years--destressing by doodling. I'll get back to the real work tomorrow.

The best interpretation of Harry I've ever seen, I always thought Daniel Radcliffe was too beefy for Harry when he's supposed to be half starved from living with the Dursley's. This is amazing though, it really captures his slightness perfectly! Congratulations!

I love how this captures both the young, wounded Harry and the embattled Harry of the 6th and 7th books, who has seen too much. It feels very late teen (love the hint of adams apple), but is still awkward, lonely, tired, with too much of the world weighing on him.
What's strange is it still brings to mind the young Harry with a grin so wide and shiny you want to follow him arround just to see his joy. That child is still in there, just overwhelmed by all that he is exptected to do.
