Alright so new page to celebrate the end of the semester! This page uses my new comic style I've been developing. I'm still working on it but its turning out pretty good right now.
The biggest thing that still needs to be worked on is the background and scene colors, and some of that will just come with proper composition setup which I wasn't conscious of during the sketching phase for this one.
With the summer here I'm going to try and put out pages much more regularly. Once I have my job in place I'll have a better idea of how that'll work and I'll inform you guys of the plan.
Based on comments from the last page I can take a pretty good guess to people's reactions to this. And so I'll leave you all with this little food for thought. We still haven't gotten to the best part yet.

You do such a good job of making me upset, and making me feel for Pepper. Her parents are being such jerks my gosh.
Other than my angry emotions, I'm also pretty impressed by your skills with this comic. The rays of light, the shading, the red in the very intense panels, all of it makes it very dramatic. And every expression is done so well aaa. You portrayed the shock and anger so well.
That tiny note makes me curious and worried.

Thanks! This style is working out pretty well for me so far. I still need to work on proper color combos and properly filling in the background of the panels, but this is all still way better than what I was doing before. I'm very glad you saw that, one of the things I want to specialize in with characters is conveying emotion clearly and exactly.
Well, while it makes you worried I'm positively giddy about what's coming up! Its gonna be so much fun!

If they were saving that wood "as a gift", maybe they should have mentioned it. Especially if they were starting to involve her in the business. Shes not a mind reader, she couldnt have known
