DescriptionThis is my Contribution to the NCsoft "Operation Immortality: Adam and Eve 2.0 Contest ".
I always wanted to paint an XCOM (an old Amiga-Game) Fanart, so i combined it with this contest.
Photoshop and a bit cinema 4d.

The new XCOM is for kids. Guns are comically large, aliens introduce themselves every time and you somehow, with the best of human and alien technology, can't take 7 soldiers on a mission.

Ah, the old Xcom was a game without mercy. when you go to your firs alien terror mission equpped only with rifles and try to get through the thick armor of cyber disc and get played around by the sectoid commander's psyhic skills. There is nothing more bitter than the tears you shed after that mission. But if you don't give up after that, you have won. You get better weapons and your men get stronger and eventually, after a real growth, you are the one who plays the sectoid. And eventually be even able to face the Ethereals. That game is the bomb.
