I.....did some photoshopping to slim my legs 8') Because of the way my stilts were constructed, the 'thigh' part is much much fatter than I would like but OTL for the sake of safety. Apart from that the photo is unedited so uh, everything is real!

I have a pair of stilts as a foundation, and duct taped two poles to the footplate of the stilts. The front part slides onto the pole and then velcros to the joint, and the thigh part wraps around the front and velcros behind. All the parts are made of eva (yoga/camping/floor mats)

My insecty mandible things were foam carved over a thick wire frame, stuck toothpicks/pins in and coated in latex, and I put them in my mouth because hers are attached to her palatte and I was crazy.
I later remade a set for my friend out of thin gauge wire with craft foam body, still with toothpicks and pins, mounted onto a mask thing. That was lighter and more comfortable to wear, haha.
