Description
T-shirt design for client who owns a hot rod fabrication shop. The cars were chosen to represent the shop's personal projects, and the the colors were limited by the client... I tried to create the maximum impact from the few colors available, and utilize their existing logo. The Willys and Chevelle are very different cars, representing far different build styles and eras, and the challenge was to make them co-exist in harmony. I opted to draw each car in a manner that would make them appear at their most aggressive, with some slight cartooning thrown in for good measure to contrast the straightforward nature of the logo.
