Drakong is a combination of the words Drake and King Kong/Son WuKong (The monkey king of a Chinese fable, also known as Son Goku in Japanese ;D). The monkey dragon has arrived! What do you think, is it dragony enough? Please let me know!

This is super cool! I really like the wings, and I think it looks plenty dragon-y. But I think that its arms are a bit too bearlike, perhaps the forearms should be thinner? Either that or the claws are doing something to make them appear that way. Maybe I'm just getting unnecessary Ursaring-vibes. (And out of curiosity- why not blue for those as well?)
(This caught my eye because I have a fake named Drakong as well, even with the same typing, but it's in no part monkey.)

Same name and type, your kidding...that's freaking crazy! Thats especially weird because Drakong was a last minute change for me, it was originally going to be Draboon. Great minds think a-like I guess ;D

Also, really? Draboon's not too bad, though with the direction you went on the meaning behind Drakong, I have to say that I like it better. It kind of makes me feel a little like I'm stealing the cool because your Drakong matches its name and mine just... "Oh hey haha King Kong is big and smashes things lets call this fake Drakong".
And I suppose they do! ;D
